If you want to escape the loud noise and crowds, this is the trip for you!  A very gentle river in normal conditions, with a variety of water types present, a gentle current and an abundance wildlife, and quiet pools. A canopy of trees create  inviting shade during the hottest months.  Although there are no man-made obstructions on this segment of the river, snags and log-jams can be numerous and special care should be taken in navigating these sections. 
You will begin your adventure at the Luling 90 river side park, and end at the Zedler Mill River South Side Park, across the river from the historical Mill.  Average paddling time is 3 hours. There are no options to exit early.
